Lineal Woodwork was founded in 2012 by Luis Parapi, known to many as Alex, with over 25 years of expertise in custom millwork, cabinetry, and furniture. His journey began in 2000 with Alex Woodworking, working as a carpenter while taking on side projects. His passion for woodworking led him to fully dedicate himself to his craft, and in 2012, he rebranded the business to Lineal Woodwork. Since then, the company has become a family-run business serving New York City and the surrounding areas, specializing in custom woodwork solutions for both residential and commercial clients.

In 2018, Johnson Parapi, Alex’s son, was introduced to the company to manage day-to-day operations. With Alex still leading the field and quality assurance, the teamwork between father and son has driven the success of numerous projects. Johnson’s extensive background in leadership and operations management, honed through his experiences in retail, logistics, and large-scale operations, has helped Lineal Woodwork scale its services and expand its reach.
